About the Performance

Pack a lawn chair or a blanket, and join us Sunday, October 16, at 4:30 p.m. for a free outdoor performance at Museum Plaza in Downtown Pensacola! This event features members of the PSO brass section, including Dale Riegle, trumpet; Jonathan Martin, trumpet; Stuart Kinney, horn; Bret Barrow, trombone; and Wess Hillman, bass trombone. The program includes an arrangement of “Pure Imagination,” Gershwin’s “An American in Paris,” a piece by American composer Arthur Frackenpohl and several jazz favorites.

We will also be collecting donations for Manna Food Pantries, including their most needed items: Chicken and Tuna (canned and pouches), Oatmeal (single serve packets), Mixed Vegetables (canned and with peel-off lids), Microwavable Meals, Fruit in 100% Juice (20 oz. or less), and Peanut Butter (16 oz. or less jars and individual cups).

These events are offered in partnership with the University of West Florida Historic Trust with special assistance from WUWF 88.1 FM and Dale Riegle.
