Join us as musicians perform selections inspired by Artel Gallery’s Here’s Looking at You visual art exhibition. This 55-minute program includes spoken word performances by Deborah Layman and a recreation of pieces from the Clifford Brown with Strings album from 1955, including Embraceable You by George Gershwin and Yesterday by Jerome Kern. The songs featured on the renowned jazz trumpeter’s album are a wonderful complement to the art on display.
No tickets are necessary for this free, general admission event. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
