Peter Rubardt
Saenger Theatre
Join us for this fun family event featuring a theatrical concert designed especially for young audiences and their grownups followed by hands-on musical activities! Journey to another time as composer Ludwig van Beethoven moves into the upstairs apartment above young Christoph’s Vienna home. Through correspondence with his uncle, Christoph recounts with humor, curiosity and occasional frustration, his experience living below the peculiar and loud genius. Two dozen of the composer’s best-known excerpts, including his Fifth Symphony, Für Elise and Moonlight Sonata, are magically woven into the drama, based on the popular children’s book and Emmy-award winning movie. This experience provides a wonderful opportunity to learn and be entertained while sharing meaningful memories together.
General admission tickets are $5 and may be purchased online, by phone at 850.435.2533 or at the door on the day of the event. Children age three and younger are free.
