About the Performance

The season comes to a close as we welcome one of the most sought-after young composers in the country, Quinn Mason, who will join us from the stage to discuss his own work, Inner City Rhapsody, along with the composers and pieces that have inspired him, including Dvořák’s intensely expressive Seventh Symphony along with Barber’s First Essay and Brahms’ Tragic Overture.

Interested in learning more about the concert? Ticket holders are invited to a pre-concert discussion at 6:30 p.m. in the second floor meeting room of the Saenger Theatre with Composer Quinn Mason and Maestro Peter Rubardt.
