Opening Night!

Soaring excitement and thrilling musicality come together for the opening of the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra’s 98^th season. Featuring large orchestral forces, offstage brass and the Saenger’s pipe organ, Ottorino Respighi’s Pines of Rome is a testament to the composer’s ability to share vivid imagery through music. This magical program also features Paul Dukas’ A Sorcerer’s Apprentice, of Fantasia fame, along with Jacques Ibert’s Escales (Ports of Call) and the return of pianist Sara Davis Buechner for Richard Strauss’ Burleske.
