About the Performance

The 96th season comes to a close with the heroic music of triumph. Composer Libby Larsen will join us from the stage to discuss her own work, Symphony: Water Music, and the composers and pieces that have inspired her, including Respighi’s Fountains of Rome and Sibelius’ majestic Second Symphony.

Interested in learning more about the program? At 6:30 p.m. in the second floor meeting room of the Saenger Theatre, we will host a conversation featuring Music Director Peter Rubardt and Composer Libby Larsen. All ticket holders are welcome to attend to hear more about the featured composers and music.
