Our vision is to inspire, uplift, and enrich the lives of young musicians through exceptional and transformative music education and performance experiences.
Empowering Young Musicians
The Pensacola Symphony Youth Orchestra will provide students in 7th – 12th grades with advanced music education and performance opportunities. Membership is by audition only.
As members of the Pensacola Symphony Youth Orchestra, young musicians will have opportunities to:
- Achieve a high artistic standard in ensemble performance through educationally rich and diverse concert programming
- Receive instrument-specific coaching with professional members of the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra
- Perform alongside professional members of the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra for the 100th Anniversary Gala Concert
- Build collaborative and lifelong connections with other students and professional musicians through the shared passion for music
- Deepen community connections through the service of music performance
- Participate in transformative music experiences regardless of financial situation
