Classical Sounds at Bayview

Join us for a special Classical Sounds at Bayview presentation titled The Evolution of the Trombone in Symphony Orchestras. This is a free, one-hour presentation of the history of the trombone, from its early beginnings in the Renaissance period to today. Don Snowden, a member of the trombone section of the PSO for 46 years, will perform symphonic excerpts as well as popular solos, demonstrating the versatility of the trombone. He will be accompanied by Tina Buran on keyboard.
