About the Performance

Maestro Peter Rubardt’s 30th season commences with an evening of orchestral colors, passion, and drama. The program opens with the vibrant energy of Antonín Dvořák’s Carnival Overture, a dazzling celebration of joy and lyricism. Violinist Elissa Lee Koljonen returns for the soaring melodies of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, one of the most beloved in the repertoire. The intensity deepens with Medea’s Meditation and Dance of Vengeance, and the program concludes with Maurice Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé, “not only Ravel’s best work, but one of the most beautiful products in all French music.”

Tickets are available now through our Masterworks or Super Series subscriptions. Individual concert tickets go on sale September 3.
