All-State Clinic

The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra in partnership with the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music at the University of West Florida is hosting an All-State Audition Clinic for middle and high school music students on Saturday, June 22, 2024, to prepare students for the 2024-2025 All-State Band and Orchestra auditions. Students will have the opportunity to work on their repertoire with professional musicians from the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra and learn about “All-State Audition Preparation,” including music preparation, managing practice time in a busy schedule, coping with performance anxiety, and how to prepare yourself on the day of the audition. Students should bring their instruments along with their All-State music. Percussionists only need their sticks, mallets, and music.

Interested students need to register for the event by Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11:45 p.m. and submit a $15 registration fee to attend the clinic.

Schedule
Students should check in at least 15 minutes prior to the start time for their grade level.
9th and 10th Grade: 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
11th and 12th Grade:  9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
7th and 8th Grade: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Clinics will be available for the following instruments:
Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone
Trumpet, Trombone/Euphonium, Horn, Tuba
Percussion
