About the Performance

Summits & Celebrations invites audiences on an unforgettable musical expedition where dazzling virtuosity, breathtaking landscapes, and joyful celebration come together in a single concert experience. From the whirlwind excitement of Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmila Overture to the towering majesty of Mount Everest, each work paints a vivid musical scene inspired by places, movement, and imagination. Graceful butterflies dance through shimmering orchestral colors, Grainger’s charming Handel in the Strand sparkles with wit and elegance, and Mile-Tall River Wall captures the power and wonder of the natural world. The journey concludes with Saint-Saëns’ magnificent Marche Militaire Française, a grand and stirring finale filled with brilliance, pageantry, and triumphant energy. Filled with unforgettable melodies, vibrant orchestral colors, and moments of awe and exhilaration, this concert celebrates the joy of discovery and reminds us that every great adventure begins with a single note.

General admission tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m.
